Shade was in short supply at Pan-O-Prog's Pedal Tractor Pull on Thursday. And Southfork Shopping Center's blacktop parking lot certainly didn't help temper the heat. But that didn't stop dozens of enthusiastic kids from trying to pedal their way to a trophy.

With cold juice and ice cream as a reward for their efforts, there were plenty of smiles, and any tired legs from dragging the weighted sled we quickly forgotten.
