True Cost of Speeding in Minnesota: See Where Lakeville Ranked

Lakeville was one of the most expensive places to be caught speeding in Minnesota.

Lakeville is the second costliest place to be caught speeding in Minnesota, a recent study found.

An analysis by Nerd Wallet took into account the impact of insurance rate increase in figuring out the true cost of a speeding ticket.

“The true cost of a speeding ticket in Minnesota is 3.59 times the cost of the actual ticket,” the web site found.

The analysis found that the cost of a ticket in Lakeville is about $666.25. Only Prior Lake ranked above Lakeville.
