2 Toddlers, Woman Killed In Maple Grove Crash
Police responded to the scene at Dunkirk Lane and Lawndale Lane just before 7 a.m. Saturday.
MAPLE GROVE, MN — Two toddlers and a woman were killed in a single-car crash in Maple Grove Saturday. The toddlers were a 2-year-old boy and a three-year-old girl. The woman was 25.
A fourth person in the car — a 23-year-old man — survived the crash.
Police responded to the scene at Dunkirk Lane and Lawndale Lane just before 7 a.m. Saturday. It's not yet clear what led up to the crash.

Authorities say high speed may have been a factor, reports KARE 11.
"I saw the car was super fast, it just came tumbled down across this side of the street and bonked into the tree," resident Shilpa Kulkarni told FOX 9.

"The way that they crashed into that tree itself, and that something threw out, we knew it was fatal, it was going to be bad for sure."
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will release the identities of the three people killed in the crash.
