Man Killed In Plymouth Highway 169 Shooting Was From Crystal
Authorities have identified the man who was shot and killed while driving on Highway 169 in Plymouth Tuesday night.

PLYMOUTH, MN — The driver who was shot and killed on Highway 169 was identified as a 56-year-old man from Crystal. Jay H. Boughton was shot in the head on the highway Tuesday night just south of Rockford Road.
Boughton was taken to North Memorial Health Hospital, where he died just after 11:30 p.m., according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office.
The Plymouth Police Department still looking for the suspect vehicle involved in the shooting.

According to the police, two cars were going southbound on Highway 169 around 10 p.m. when a person in one vehicle shot at another vehicle, hitting the driver, investigators said.
The shooter fled the scene, police said. The driver who was shot was transported to North Memorial Hospital, where he died.

Police say the car they are looking for is a light-colored SUV. It could be a Chevrolet Tahoeo a Chevrolet Suburban, or a Ford Expedition.
The suspect vehicle may have damage to the driver's side rear bumper, investigators said.
