7th Grader from Champlin Presents at Ivey Awards

Flexibility of student's online public school, Minnesota Connections Academy, allows her to follow her passion for performing and theater.

Carley Clover, a 7th grader at MTS Minnesota Connections Academy, participated in the exciting Ivey Awards at the Historic State Theater in Minneapolis Sept. 19. Clover presented the Overall Excellence Award during the event. The Children's Theater Company took home the honors for Wizard of Oz.

"It was a huge honor and a once in a lifetime moment," said Clover. Established in 2004, the Ivey's are the Twin Cities version of the Tony's and celebrate the local theater community. Clover appeared on a variety
of Twin Cities radio stations via iheartradio's Community 30 podcast to help promote the awards. You can catch Clover at the History Theater this winter when she appears in Orphan Train.
