Brooklyn Park Woman, 25, Dies After Car Hits Tree
Marisa Amber Lilley was the only occupant in the car and died at the scene.
CROW WING COUNTY, MN — A 25-year-old woman from Brooklyn Park died in northern Minnesota after her car crashed into a tree Saturday night. Marisa Amber Lilley was driving a Ford Focus southbound on Minnesota State Highway 371 in Pequot Lakes when the vehicle left the roadway to the right and hit a tree.
The fatal collision occurred just after 7:30 p.m. Lilley was the only occupant in the car, and died at the scene. She was wearing her seat belt.
It is not known if alcohol was a factor in the crash, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
