Car Accident in Maple Grove Claims Life Of Michigan Man

Marshune M. Potts was killed early Tuesday when his car crashed into the median on HWY. 610.

MAPLE GROVE, MN —A 21-year-old Michigan man was killed early Tuesday in Maple Grove when his car drifted off the road and into the median on HWY 610, according to BringMeTheNews.com.

Marshune M. Potts, of Birch Run, Michigan, was pronounced dead at the scene of the one-vehicle accident, which occurred around 4:42 a.m., according to reports. Sources said Potts was not wearing a seat belt.

According to the State Patrol, Potts was driving a Chevy Cruz westbound on HWY. 610, east of Interstate 94 in Maple Grove, when he lost control of the vehicle. The car drifted left and rolled into the center median.

Though roads were icy and covered in snow, it is not clear if those conditions were responsible for the accident, BringMeTheNews.com reported.

As a result of the accident, HWY. 610 was closed for several hours.
