Garage, 3 Cars Burned At Residence With Large 'Trump 2020' Sign

"Biden 2020" and "BLM" were freshly spray-painted on the garage in Brooklyn Center before the fire, police said.

BROOKLYN CENTER, MN — Authorities are investigating after a fire burned down a three-car garage and three vehicles in Brooklyn Center. Police say the home where the fire broke out featured a large "Trump 2020" sign.

The blaze was deemed "suspicious" by authorities.

Police found that "Biden 2020," "BLM," and the capital letter "A" with a circle around it were freshly spray-painted on the garage before it burned down. FOX 9 reporter Courtney Godfrey posted a photo here.

Just before 4 a.m. Wednesday, Brooklyn Center police officers and firefighters responded to the report of an explosion and fire at 6900 block of Morgan Ave North.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze at the residence, but not before the garage and cars were destroyed.

Authorities saved three dogs and five puppies from the home, according to a news release. There was minor damage to the house itself.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

The investigation remains "extremely active," police said.
