Hotel Listed As Minnesota’s Best Haunted House To Visit

SAUK CENTRE, MN — Nothing says Halloween like a visit to a haunted house. If you’re in for a real scare and not just an attraction, a list from The Daily Meal has the best haunted house in Minnesota to visit.

“Current or former homes with a ghostly presence take on an especially eerie vibe, given they often come with tragic and personal tales of suicide, murder, or heartbreak,” The Daily Meal writes. “So we sought out real houses that are actually haunted for the ultimate scare.”

The Daily Meal consulted its past coverage and looked up reviews on Yelp and TripAdvisor to come up with its list.

In Minnesota, The Daily Meal deemed The Palmer House Hotel in Sauk Centre as the best haunted house to visit.

Per The Daily Meal, strange drops in temperature, the sounds of children playing (when there are none present), and the sight of a woman in a red turban have been reported in the hotel. (See more via The Daily Meal here.)
