KARE: Maple Grove Storm Chaser Stresses Expertise, Safety, Information-Sharing

KARE 11 interviewed Maple Grove-based storm chaser Michael Stanga about personal safety, public safety and tornadoes in the wake of the recent deaths of storm chaser Tim Samaras (an "absolute genius," Stanga says), his son Paul, and a colleague in Oklahoma: 

"We are highly trained professionals. It's not something you can just pick up. ... We submit reports to the National Weather Service. That is Priority No. 1. Photos and video—definitely last."
