Local Company Receives CHOICE, Inc.’s Community Partner Award

A successful business partnership, one that lasts over 25 years, is certainly something to celebrate! CHOICE, Incorporated is doing just that by recognizing Primera Technology, Inc. as a Distinguished Community Partner. CHOICE is a non-profit organization that has been dedicated to providing quality services for people with intellectual disabilities for 50 years. Job placement & support is one of the many services that CHOICE provides that assist the organization in fulfilling its mission.

Twelve CHOICE participants enjoy their jobs at Primera Technology, Inc. Primera is one of the world’s leading specialty printer manufacturers. Headquartered in Plymouth, MN, its products are sold worldwide, in more than 200 countries. Primera continues to be a favorite employer for many at CHOICE. They look forward to their scheduled work days at Primera and really enjoy their boxing, labeling and packaging tasks. Even with the expansion of modern day technology taking over some tasks, Primera has gone above and beyond to continue to provide opportunities for CHOICE participants to maintain their duties and responsibilities. Workers feel so valued and appreciated when they go to work at Primera as the employees always include them in their office celebrations and even throw them birthday parties, going all out with cake and decorations.
