Maple Grove, 34, Man Killed In East Metro Crash
The fatal crash happened just after 6:30 a.m. Friday.
LAKE ELMO, MN — A 34-year-old Maple Grove man was killed early Friday morning in a crash on Highway 36 in Washington County's Lake Elmo. The Minnesota State Patrol said just after 6:30 a.m., a semi with a side dump trailer was stopped on the highway with its trailer partially sticking out into the eastbound lanes of traffic.
A Honda Civic going eastbound struck the back of a semi that was stopped, authorities said. The driver of the Honda was killed.
The driver of the semi, a Woodbury man, was not injured, police said.

Road conditions were wet at the time of the crash, according to the State Patrol.
