TWIN CITIES, MN — There's good news if apple picking is one of your favorite fall activities; the season for it has finally arrived. Pumpkin patches across Minnesota are offering fun fall activities for everyone to enjoy.

Some locations offer a little bit of everything for fall fun, while others have one or two specialities. Remember to call ahead or check the orchard’s website to clarify hours of operation or to check for availability of apples.

Pine Tree Apple Orchard: 450 Apple Orchard Rd, White Bear Lake, MN 55110

• Open every day 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Axdahl's Garden Farm & Greenhouse: 7452 Manning Ave N, Stillwater, MN 55082

• Hayrides are Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., every half hour

Minnetonka Orchards: 6530 County Rd 26, Minnetrista, MN 55364

• Open daily through October, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Nesbitt's Nursery and Orchard: N4380 WI-35, Prescott, WI 54021

• Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Ziertman’s Pumpkin Farm: 5761 Keats Ave N, Lake Elmo, MN 55042

• Open every weekend until Halloween from 10:00 a.m. to dusk

Afton Apple Orchard: 14421 90th St S, Hastings, MN 55033

Barten Pumpkins: 5716 280th St W, New Prague, MN 56071

• Open through October from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., on closed Mondays
