Minnesota Menards Stores Require Customers To Wear Masks

MAPLE GROVE, MN — In the chain's effort to reduce the spread of the new coronavirus, all Menards stores in Minnesota now require customers to wear masks.

"Due to COVID-19, we are requiring all Guests to wear a mask or face covering while shopping in our stores," the retailer states on its website. "If you do not have a mask or face covering, we have masks available for purchase. Thank you for your cooperation and efforts to keep our Guests and Team Members safe."

Menards stores have implemented elderly and vulnerable guest shopping hours. These special shopping periods take place Monday through Saturday, from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

"While our elderly & vulnerable Guests are welcome to shop during any of our hours of operation, this time is reserved specifically for them," the company states, asking other customers to refrain from shopping during this time.
