Motorcyclist Killed On Highway In Maple Grove Identified
The fatal crash happened Monday night in Maple Grove.
MAPLE GROVE, MN — The motorcyclist that was killed in a Maple Grove crash has been identified. Ryan R. Schmiesing, 47, of Chaska was riding when his motorcycle was struck by a car at 9:15 p.m Monday on County Highway 81 at 93rd Avenue North, police said.
Schmiesing died from "multiple blunt force injuries" just after 9:30 p.m., the Hennepin County Medical Examiner ruled.
The Maple Grove Police Department is investigating the crash.
