New Year's Eve at the Lookout

Venue name: Lookout Bar and Grill
Venue address: 8672 Pineview Lane North in Maple Grove
Date and time: Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 5 p.m. until 2 a.m.

Event description: A special New Year's Eve menu begins at 5 p.m. The event includes live music by Kickstart beginning at 9 a.m. and great specials for dinner. There will be a free champagne toast at midnight and free hats and noisemakers. The Lookout is open until 2 a.m.

Price: No cover charge.

Scott Hanson's 'Laughing into the New Year' 

Venue name: Maple Tavern
Venue address: 9375 Deerwood Lane North in Maple Grove
Date and time: Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 7:30 p.m.

Event description: Join Scott Hanson as he rings in the New Year at Maple Tavern. The "Larger than Life" Scott Hanson knocks 2013 into the dust and send you into 2014 with a smile on your face so big that it hurts. There will be two showings: one at 7:30 p.m. and one at 9:30 p.m. Seating is first come first served so make your diner reservations and get here early or purchase a VIP reserved table for premium seating.

Price: Tickets are $25 in advance/ $30 at the door. Tickets are available at Maple Tavern or online.

Rince Nua Irish Dance

Rince Nua Irish Dance is excited to announce new beginner classes starting in January 2014. The Rince Nua Irish Dance Studio is located at 10701 93rd Avenue Suite D in Maple Grove. Classes are Saturdays Jan. 4  through April 5, no classes Feb. 15 or March 15.

Kindergarten through 2nd Grade: 11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
