The Board's approval of this recommendation will allow the district to begin instruction while giving its leadership extra time to properly staff the Distance Learning Academy and all physical schools. Additionally, the two weeks of distance learning will be used to provide further staff training in effective instruction in the hybrid model and to ongoingly monitor virus case rates in local communities.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, change is the only constant, and the Osseo Area Schools leadership team sincerely thanks students, families, teachers, and staff for their patience and understanding in these challenging times.
