Kids, leave the grown-ups at home and join Three Rivers Parks for “School Year Bug Camp,” on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 from 1-3:30 p.m., at Eastman Nature Center, in Elm Creek Park Reserve, Dayton.
Three major habitats mean countless critters to uncover. Scoop at the pond, sweep in the prairie, and check logs and bark in the forest. Insects and their non-insect buggy kin will be the focus, along with the body structures and behaviors that make them so abundant.
