Let it snow!
We've got the snow, now bring on the Holidays. On Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Maple Grove Community Center (12951 Weaver Lake Road), go ahead and start your shopping. Enjoy a variety of holiday crafts from local vendors at the Maple Grove Craft Boutique. The boutique opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m. Admission is free.
• Hunters' Widows Unite at Fall Multi-Vendor Open House
Check out 11 vendors at their eighth annual open house. Doors open at 8 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The event is free, and all vendors have donated door prizes. The event is hosted at 9700 Penn Avenue North in Brooklyn Park.
Musical Theatre
• Maple Grove Jr. High Presents: The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr.ÂThe musical is based on the book Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown and Illustrated by Jeff Nash. The show runs Nov. 7, 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now during lunch, after school and before each show.
• Maple Grove Senior High presents "Guys and Dolls"
More than 40 talented students will transport you from Runyonland to Havana and back again as Nathan Detroit, the organizer of the oldest permanent floating crap game, bets Sky Masterson that he can't make the next girl he sees fall in love with him- who just happens to be Miss Sarah Brown of the Save-a-Soul Mission. The first show is Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m.
