Scrooged!

Join Maple Grove Covenant Church this Christmas Eve as they get "Scrooged!" and unwrap the unexpected gift of Christmas.

They will be featuring John Mark Nelson and string cortet as their musical guests. Children will receive a special gift before the service. The church is located at 9350 Upland Lane North in Maple Grove. The event is Tuesday, Dec. 24 at 3 p.m.

Scrooge is a word often associated with a friendless, money pinching person– and rightfully so. Charles Dickens’ Ebenezer Scrooge was a greedy old man. But then Ebenezer got “Scrooged”:  He received an unexpected Christmas gift. He faced his future in light of his past and present actions, and he changed his ways. He made amends. Scrooge moved from a life of greed and isolation to a life of joy and generosity.


Lord of Life Lutheran

You are welcome to Christmas Eve worship at Lord of Life Lutheran Church (7401 County Road 101) in Maple Grove.

Services: 

  • 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. - Worship with Holy Communion and children's sermon. Childcare available.
  • 8 p.m., 9:30 p.m., 11 p.m. - Candlelight worship with Holy Communion.


St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church

Join St. John's for Christmas lessons and favorite Christmas hymns.
  • Christmas Eve services are at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
  • Christmas Day service is at 10 a.m.
