A newly released video shows the plane making an emergency landing on the interstate and striking one car.

TWIN CITIES, MN — The Minnesota Department of Transportation has released the full video showing a small plane landing on a stretch of northbound Interstate 35W in Arden Hills Wednesday night. The plane struck one car during the landing, but there were no injuries reported in the incident.

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the scene around 9:30 p.m. after the single engine Bellanca Viking plane made an emergency landing on I-35W, just south of the Interstate 694 interchange.

"This remains an open and active investigation," the Minnesota State Patrol said.
