WATCH: Golf Fan Heckles European Pros, Sinks $100 Putt
A player from Europe's Ryder Cup team challenged a heckling fan to a 10-foot putt. He sunk it and won $100 in the process.
Anything can happen at the Ryder Cup.
While at a practice green on Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota, the site of the 41st Ryder Cup, a fan from North Dakota named David Johnson began heckling Europe’s Ryder Cup team, including players Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson.
Eventually, Rose challenged him to a 10-foot putt for $100.

At that moment, it appeared that Johnson transformed from a heckling fan into Happy Gilmore.

Johnson's clutch moment on the green may prove to be a good omen for the United States Ryder Cup team, which hasn't won since 2008.
