Alzheimer’s Support Group Now Offers Respite Care
Respite care available during the Gladstone Alzheimer's Care Giver Support Group Meeting on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 1-2:30 pm.
Help us spread the word! If you or someone you know is caring for/ living with someone who has Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia, there now is a support group that offers respite care during the support group meeting time. This Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group meets at the Gladstone 55+ Center from 1:00 - 2:30 pm on the second Thursday of each month. The Gladstone 55+ center is located at 1945 Manton St, Maplewood. The group facilitator is Christine Gregori LSW, from the Ramsey County Care Center, who has received specialized training as an Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group Facilitator. Respite care is provided, at no charge, by the certified staff from ComForCare in Oakdale. To take advantage of the respite care, please RSVP by calling 651-748-7250 at least one week in advance. If you do not need respite care, there is no need to RSVP in advance of the meeting.
