Count Down to Christmas at Christ Lutheran!

Count down to Christmas at Christ Lutheran Church in Lake Elmo! Bring the family and kick off the season at our intergenerational Advent Fair from 9:15-10:15 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3, where your family can make Christmas crafts together as you enjoy coffee, lemonade and cookies! The event is free of charge. Then, join us for a contemporary worship service at 10:30 a.m. to help you get into the real holiday spirit – or get up early and join us for traditional worship at 8:00 a.m. before heading to the Advent Fair.

Additional Advent (pre-Christmas) activities are scheduled for Wednesday evenings this year, with a simple soup supper (free will donations accepted) from 6:00-7:00 p.m. followed by a brief, half-hour worship including beautiful music from the Holden Evening Prayer Service. An abundance of joyful Christmas music will fill the air on Sunday, Dec. 17, as our choirs, handbells and Sunday School students present the Christmas story through music and scriptures at both 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. services. Rounding out the activities on Dec. 17 will be a bake sale between services.

Christmas Eve candlelight communion worship is scheduled for 3:30, 5:30 and 11:00 p.m. on Dec. 24, with one Christmas Day service at 9:00 a.m. on the 25^th.
