Highway 36 Closures Planned
MnDOT is closing the lanes so crews can begin painting the new Keller Lake Bridge.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation on Friday announced upcoming loop, lane and shoulder closures on Highway 36 in Maplewood.
Beginning at 8 p.m., Monday, Sept. 23, both directions of Highway 36 between Highway 61 and Edgerton Avenue will be reduced to a single lane.
There will also be shoulder closures on both directions of the highway.Â

All shoulders and lanes are expected to re-open by 6 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 26.

Meanwhile, beginning at 5 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, the northeast loop of northbound Highway 61 to westbound Highway 36 will close for two weeks as crews begin to construct a new infiltration pond nearby.
A detour will direct drivers to eastbound Highway 36 to English Street, over the English Street Bridge, left onto westbound Highway 36.
The loop will reopen by 10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, weather permitting.
