Rising Stars Gymnastics Academy Gymnasts Compete at Local Meet

Local gymnasts complete second meet of the season with first place team finishes

The Level 3 and 4 gymnasts from Rising Stars Gymnastics Academy competed in their second meet of the season on October 22, 2016, at the Harvest Invite meet at North St. Paul High School. The Level 3’s celebrated first place with a team score of 110.875. Adeline Lafontaine earned first place as the all-around champion with a score of 37.4, with first place finishes on bars and beam. Isabelle Kargel placed second on the balance beam with a score of 9.325 and Keiona Richard earned third place on vault with a score of 9.65. The Level 4’s also earned first place with a team score of 107.80. Lily Thomson earned third place as all-around and first place on bars with a score of 9.175 and Ayana Chan-Khan of Woodbury earned second place on floor (8.8) and third place on bars (8.925) in their 7-9 age group. Veronica Zimmer of Lake Elmo earned third place on vault in her 7-9 age group. Celine Lundquist earned second place on beam with a score of 9.25 in 10 year old age group. In the 11 year and up age group, Sienna Vang earned first place as the all around champion with a score of 36.875 with first place scores on all events. The girls will compete in their next meet on November 6th at the Fall Spectacular Meet. The girls are coached by Alyssa Weber, Bailee Meyer and Sang-Jin Song. Rising Stars Gymnastics Academy is located in Oakdale, Minnesota.
