1 Killed After Sideswipe From Exit On I-494: State Patrol
A Dodge Caravan sideswiped another car on the highway near France Avenue, according to authorities.
BLOOMINGTON, MN — A 78-year-old Golden Valley man was killed in a crash on eastbound Interstate 494 near France Avenue in Bloomington Monday afternoon. The collision happened just after 1:15 p.m.
Police said a 2005 Dodge Caravan in the exit-only lane to France Avenue drifted to the left and sideswiped a Subaru Forrester. The Forrester collided with a semi.
Conditions were dry at the time of the incident, according to authorities.

The driver of the Caravan was killed. His identity has not been released. The drivers of the other two vehicles were not injured in the crash, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
