$5K Reward For Suspect Info After Doctor Shot In Head In Edina
A 45-year-old doctor from Eagan was shot in the head during the incident at the hospital parking lot.

EDINA, MN — A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and charging of a suspect involved in an attempted robbery Monday in Edina. M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital and the buildings surrounding it went into lockdown as a result that night.
A 45-year-old doctor from Eagan was shot in the head during the incident at the hospital parking lot.
A witness told the Star Tribune that the doctor "was being robbed at gunpoint and was shot when he resisted." The doctor was treated at the hospital and then released. He provided officers a description of the suspect.

Police have also made surveillance images public.

At 8:54 p.m. Monday, the Edina Police Department received calls of a shooting at the hospital parking lot. The suspect fled the scene, according to authorities."Those in the area are urged to exercise caution and remain in their homes," officials said Monday night.
