Here's How Much Snow Fell In The Richfield Area
The wet snow made for a sloppy commute Friday morning throughout the west metro.
RICHFIELD, MN — According to the National Weather Service, there were 2.9 inches of new snow on the ground at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport as of 6 a.m. Friday. There were 2.6 inches of new snow at the NWS headquarters in Chanhassen.
According to an unofficial report, Richfield had 2.1 inches of new snow as of 7 a.m. Friday. The wet snow made for a sloppy commute Friday morning throughout the Twin Cities metro.
Another round of light snow is set for Friday night. No more than half an inch more of snow will accumulate, NWS says.
