Here's How To Track Your Ballot In Minnesota

If you mailed your ballot in, you can see where it is and if it's been counted already.

TWIN CITIES, MN — A decision handed down from a federal court Thursday increased the risk that mailed-in ballots that arrive after Election Day might not be counted. An Eighth Circuit panel ruled that election officials must "segregate" Minnesota ballots received after Nov. 3.

The ballots that arrive after Election Day will be segregated in case a later ruling finds that all post-Election Day ballots in Minnesota must be thrown out entirely.

Following that decision, state officials are encouraging residents to vote in-person rather than by mail. However, if you've already voted by mail, Minnesota has a tool that allows you to track your ballot.
