I-494 To Close Between Highway 212, Highway 100

Crews are installing beams as part of the new entrance ramp from East Bush Lake Road to westbound I-494.

BLOOMINGTON, MN — The Minnesota Department of Transportation will close part of Interstate 494 in both directions in Bloomington this weekend.

Beginning at 10 p.m. Friday, July 20, westbound I-494 will close between Highway 100 and Highway 212. The road is scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, July 23.

Motorists should follow the signed detour using northbound Highway 100, westbound Highway 62 and southbound Highway 212 to I-494 to bypass the closure.

Eastbound I-494 will also close at 10 p.m. Friday, July 20 between Highway 212 and Highway 100 and will reopen by 5 p.m. Saturday, July 21.
