MnDOT's Highway 77 Study: What To Know
State transit officials are hoping to reduce crashes and congestion along the Highway 77 corridor in Richfield.
RICHFIELD, MN — The Minnesota Department of Transportation is currently studying Highway 77/Cedar Avenue from 138th Street in Apple Valley to Interstate 494 in Richfield to "identify congestion mitigation concepts."
The study began in December 2020 and will last into December 2021, with construction potentially starting in 2026. Construction will include "the concepts developed during the study" that are "evaluated against multiple criteria to determine feasibility."
