TWIN CITIES, MN — The Minnesota Gophers will be awarded for their ten-win season with a trip to Tampa, Florida for the 2020 Outback Bowl. The 10-2 Gophers — representing the Big Ten conference — will take on the 9-3 Auburn Tigers of the SEC.
Auburn will pose a significant challenge to this young Gophers team. The Tigers beat Alabama and Oregon, and their only losses this season were to highly-ranked Georgia, Florida, and LSU. Minnesota's head coach, P.J. Fleck, will have to think of a creative game plan to stop experienced Auburn coach Gus Malzahn.
