Pay Your Age Returns To MN Build-A-Bear Stores With A Catch
Stores across the U.S., including in Minnesota, will be offering the promotion in the last week of June.

TWIN CITIES, MN — Build-A-Bear is bringing back its popular pay your age promotion but this time, the company has a plan to control the crowds eager for a piece of stuffing. The promotion is valid in most retail stores on select days between June 24-28 but for a chance to claim it, customers must enter to win a ticket. The details for entering are on the Build-A-Bear website and across all stores in the United States and elsewhere. The chain says 200,000 people are expected to win a ticket for the promotion.
Build-A-Bear has two locations in the Twin Cities: Roseville and the Mall of America.
There’s a limit of two bears per ticket, according to Build-A-Bear. The deadline for entering to win a ticket is Sunday, June 16.

The new rules to limit participation were put into place after the promotion last summer yielded comically long lines at Build-A-Bear stores in the U.S. So many customers turned up that hordes of them had to be turned away because the toy company feared for “crowd and safety concerns.”
