Pickup Driver Loses Control on Icy I-94
A trooper was headed down Interstate 94 in the Twin Cities when a truck spun out in front of him.
Dashcam footage captured by the Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) Saturday caught what happens when vehicles don't slow down in slick road conditions. A trooper was headed down Interstate 94 near the 494/694 split when a truck spun out in front of him and barely avoided a collision.
The MSP reminds drivers to slow down and increase your following distance in inclement weather and when road conditions are poor.
"Doing those two things is the best way to avoid a crash or ending up in the ditch," read an MSP post on Facebook. "And don't forget to buckle up."
