Halloween season is here and we have a bunch of fun planned! From online events (virtual costume show, virtual pumpkin-carving show, online Halloween dance) to self-guided in-person events (scavenger hunt, storybook trail), we're ready for this spook-tacular time of year!

Saturday, October 17, 10 am to 3 pm, is the Fall Storybook Trail at Wood Lake Nature Center (6710 Lake Shore Dr). Follow the trail to read the book, It's Fall, and go on a photo scavenger hunt along the way! Dress up in your Halloween costume and complete the five photo scavenger hunt challenges to be entered to win a gift card (drawings held on the Tuesday following).
Photo scavenger hunt items:
• Photo of you reading the story on the trail
• A spider web
• Something no longer alive
• Something spooky
• A hollow in a tree
Send photos to recreation@richfieldmn.gov to be entered into a drawing for a gift card!
