Richfield-Based Best Buy Shuffles Holiday Shopping Schedule

RICHFIELD, MN — Best Buy Tuesday became the latest company to announce significant changes to its holiday shopping season due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The Richfield-based tech giant will offer its annual holiday deals earlier than normal.

Also this year, all Best Buy stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. Customers are encouraged to use the retailer's store pickup options and order online. Masks are require for those visiting the stores.

Best Buy's announcement comes after Target, another Twin Cities company, made a similar announcement Monday.
