“We have continued to be in touch with state and local leaders, and are asking our residents to be patient and abide by this latest extension of our local curfew.” said Mayor Regan Gonzalez. “The City of Richfield will remain consistent with the governor’s curfew orders.”

During the curfew, the Police Department asks residents to:

  • Stay indoors
  • If you live in a house, leave on porch lights
  • Call 911 if you witness any suspicious activities

“Richfield residents have been very respectful of following the city curfew since it was first established on May 29,” said Police Chief Jay Henthorne. “By staying home, it has allowed our officers to zero in on possible illegal activities quicker and has led to several burglaries being stopped before they started.”
