Richfield Officials Issue Vehicles Theft Alert
Over the weekend, there were numerous reports of tampering and theft from vehicle. Incidents occurred in three of the four districts.

Over the weekend, there were numerous reports of tampering and theft from vehicle. Incidents occurred in three of the four districts within the city. One reporting person described the suspect as a 6'00" male wearing a light colored sweater. No vehicle was associated with the suspect. An air fryer and $50 in change were the most significant items taken.

PLEASE:
- LOCK YOUR VEHICLE!
- Do NOT leave valuables in your vehicle. That includes: Laptops, GPS, briefcases, cash or change, sunglasses, cell phones, or gym bags. All are tempting to a thief.
- Do not leave keys or garage door openers in the vehicle.
Please call 911 immediately, if you see or hear anything suspicious! Report suspicious activity while it is happening. This could save you or someone else from being victimized. Call 9-1-1 and stay on the line if you see or hear something that seems unusual or suspicious. Try to get a description of the suspects and their vehicle, and do not confront suspects.
