Richfield School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

RICHFIELD, MN — The first day of school in Richfield is September 4 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Richfield District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates, such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 8/21 - 8/23: New Teacher Workshop
• 8/24: Grades Pre-K-5 Teacher Workshop
• 8/27 - 8/31: Teacher Workshop

September

• 9/3: Labor Day
• 9/4: First Day of School

October

• 10/11: Grades 9-12 Conferences (4 p.m.-8 p.m.)
• 10/16: Grades Pre-K-8 Conferences (4 p.m.-8 p.m.)
• 10/17: Grades Pre-K-8 Conferences (4 p.m.-8 p.m.)
• 10/18 - 10/19: Teacher Convention

November

• 11/5: Grades Pre-K-12 Professional Development Day
