Richfield Students Get Early Practice With "Bandy"
Bandy is a predecessor to modern ice hockey.

Richfield's youth hockey players got a taste of an unusual Swedish sport this week, according to WCCO.Â
Called "Bandy," the sport is actually a predecessor to modern ice hockey, played with a ball instead of a puck, and where checking and goalie sticks are not allowed.
The camp was intended to help boost players' puck handling skills and skating finesse, the TV station reports
