Woman Shot Man In Richfield Apartment Before Calling Cops: Police

RICHFIELD, MN — Richfield police say a woman shot a man early Monday morning before calling the police to her apartment. Police received her call just before 2 a.m., and they responded to the scene at an apartment on the 1700 block of 75th Street West.

The man was shot in the head, but he was still breathing. He was transported to Hennepin Healthcare

The woman and several witnesses were brought to the Richfield Police Department for questioning. The investigation is ongoing.

Police say this was an "isolated incident" and there "does not appear to be any pending danger to the community."
