2017 Google Summit Minnesota in Fridley MN

This conference uniquely features Google for Education, providing two full days of learning connected to today's hottest technology.

Fridley Public Schools and EdTechTeam are coming together to organize the fifth annual EdTechTeam Minnesota Summit. This conference uniquely features Google for Education, providing two full days of learning connected to today's hottest technology services for the classroom and the educational community. The conference will run from March 11-12 with optional "Deep-Dive" workshops on March 10, at Fridley High School in Fridley, Minnesota.

The high-powered two-day learning event is packed with content and information for education professionals, administrators and technology consultants and professionals specializing in the education field. At the conference, participants will learn about how to integrate, deploy and make use of Google Apps for Education and other relevant tools from Google to revolutionize and enhance learning and the student experience throughout the educational cycle, from K-12 to higher education.

Global Training Leaders in Google for Education

The two-day conference will include national leaders in the use of Google for Education, including designated Innovative Educators and Certified Trainers who are renowned for their exceptional skill and innovation in the use of Google tools to elevate the level of education in classrooms and districts. The program will also highlight administrators who have taken a leading role in technology in the classroom and other solution providers powering change in the education sector.

Conference Schedule and Registration

The conference will be packed with keynotes and sessions throughout the two-day schedule, as well as networking breakfasts, lunches and get-togethers. The event will also include a demo slam, with an opportunity to demonstrate and view unique uses of Google AdWords Apps for Education. The event will run from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm on March 11 and 7:30 am to 4:00 pm on March 12.

Registration for the conference is final and non-refundable; however, you can transfer your registration to another colleague who may attend in your place. These events are susceptible to cancellation due to weather, low attendance or related concerns; in this case your ticket will be transferable to future events organized by the EdTechTeam.

Special Dive-Deep Workshop Day

There are also a series of one-day pre-summit workshops available for attendees of the summit. These additional workshops are targeted for educators, educational leaders and administrators as well as technical specialists and IT staff. This one-day series of workshops will provide in-depth experiences and knowledge with information and specific examples. Technical Retreat for Chrome Device Implementation and Management Best Practices

If you are rolling out or managing the use of Chrome Devices at your educational institution, school or local district, you may be interested in this workshop. In this one-day intensive training, you will gain insight into the range of devices available, including which specific devices and models are most suitable to the needs of your students and schools.

Bootcamp for Level 2 Certification

Excel in the use of Google Tools, moving beyond the basics and maximizing learning opportunities in the classroom. This workshop will include the use of blended learning lesson plans that elevate student understanding across concepts and issues covered. The bootcamp will include key unites such as coaching and personalized learning; your registration will include a voucher for use for the Level 2 Exam.
