MINNEAPOLIS — Coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, which means there is even more reason to celebrate this Independence Day. July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.

We have all the fireworks shows, parades, and festivals happening in and around the Twin Cities so you can start planning now. Minneapolis' Independence fireworks may have been canceled, but they have been replaced with other celebrations.

• What: Eagan July 4th Funfest
• Where: Central Park Commons
• When: July 4th, fireworks begin at 10 p.m.

Here's what's in store this July 4 in St. Louis Park:

• What: Food trucks, entertainment from DJ Bob, other vendors, and fireworks
• Where: Aquila Park, 3110 Xylon Avenue South in St. Louis Park
• When: The events will begin at 7 p.m. Fireworks will begin at 10 p.m.
