Blackbird Cafe Patio Makes Progress at City Council
The final decision will be made by the full City Council next week.
Blackbird Cafe moved one step closer to creating a sidewalk patio as their proposal easily passed a public hearing at the Minneapolis City Council's regulatory committee Monday.
The cafe's plan would create a 12-person seating area outside the front door at 3800 Nicollet Avenue South.
The cafe plans the patio to be open the same hours as the restaurant: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday to Thursday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday; 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday; and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday.
