Metro Transit Will Require Face Coverings On Buses, Trains

Children under age 2, and others who aren't able to wear face coverings safely, are exempt from the requirement.

TWIN CITIES, MN — Starting Monday, May 18, Metro Transit will require customers to wear face coverings while riding buses and trains. Acceptable face coverings include masks, tightly woven cotton, bandanas, and scarves.

Children under age 2, and others who aren't able to wear face coverings safely, are exempt.

Metro Transit says it does not have the power to deny service to customers if they are not wearing a face covering.
