Minneapolis Dance Teacher Sexually Assaulted Teen Student: Police
The 29-year-old dance instructor is accused of sexually assaulting one of his students at his Minneapolis apartment.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — A Minneapolis dance instructor is accused of sexually assaulting one of his teenage students in December. Decorey Bozeman, 29, was charged Dec. 29 with first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
On Dec. 28, Minneapolis police officers responded to a home regarding a sexual assault. A teen there reported that he was sexually assaulted at Bozeman's apartment, according to the criminal complaint.
Bozeman told investigators that he is the teen's dance teacher and that he picked the student up from a dance studio on Dec. 27, the complaint said. Bozeman had the teen spend the night at his Minneapolis apartment, according to police.

After sexually assaulting the teen at his apartment, Bozeman called the police to report what happened, investigators said.
Bozeman made his initial appearance in court Dec. 30. His next court appearance is set for Jan. 28.
