Minneapolis Schools Cancel In-Person Class Due To Heat

Fifteen Minneapolis schools will move to distance learning this week due to the weather.

MINNEAPOLIS — Due to the extreme heat, fifteen Minneapolis schools will cancel in-person classes Tuesday through Thursday and move to distance learning.

The schools that have canceled in-person class so far include:

  • Anthony
  • Anwatin
  • Bryn Mawr
  • Field
  • Heritage
  • Hiawatha
  • Kenny
  • Kenwood
  • Lake Harriet Upper
  • Northrop
  • Olson
  • Pratt
  • Roosevelt
  • Sheridan
  • Windom
