Minnesota Timberwolves Are Up For Sale: Report
Minnesota billionaire Glen Taylor has owned the franchise since 1995.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Glen Taylor is getting set to sell the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The billionaire has retained the Raine Group to sell the franchise, reports Sportico, which broke the news Tuesday afternoon. There have already been several offers made, and a deal could be done within a month, Sportico was told.
Taylor has owned the team since 1995.

Former Timberwolves star Kevin Garnett and a group of investors are "seriously interested" in bidding for the team, sources tell The Athletic. Garnett confirmed the reports on his Instagram page.
Taylor only plans to sell the team to someone who will keep it in Minnesota, according to The Athletic reporter Jon Krawczynski.
