Minnesota Vikings Stadium Needs Massive Repairs, Will Cost $21M
The project to repair the leaks on the new stadium is estimated to take at least two years.

MINNEAPOLIS — Every single panel on the outside of U.S. Bank Stadium must be replaced due to water leaking into the building. The repairs will cost $21 million and will take two years to complete.
"I'll be honest with you, we're embarrassed by the fact this building has had the issues it's had," John Wood, the Mortenson official who was in charge of the stadium project, told the Star Tribune.
Contractors will pay for the repairs, the newspaper says, per a settlement made Friday. The Minnesota Vikings and taxpayers will be spared the costs.
